The Production Futures team caught up with ER Productions, the amazing crew responsible for the explosive pyrotechnics and special effects that made Bludfest 2025 one of the hottest festivals of the year.

From firing four massive Vulcan 40m flame units simultaneously to deploying confetti and laser effects, ER brought an unforgettable energy to Yungblud’s MK Bowl show.


The team shared insights into the technical challenges of working with live flames, lasers and confetti.

We also learned about their career journeys, the importance of in-house training and exciting opportunities for internships and employment in the world of live event special effects.
