Production Futures is proud to announce that its CEO Hannah Eakins has been welcomed as an Honorary Fellow of the Academy of Live Technology (ALT). Based at Production Park near Wakefield, the Academy is a highly respected, specialised higher education and training provider, focused on the live events, entertainment, and creative industries. The award of the Fellowship coincides with Production Futures ten year anniversary and recognises Hannah’s exceptional contribution to developing the next generation of production industry talent, and helping to shape the future of the live events and creative industries.

As CEO of Production Futures, an industry-led initiative dedicated to creating access and opportunities for those pursuing careers in production, Hannah oversees a nationwide programme of live events and a thriving 24/7 online community. Working in partnership with world-leading partners, Production Futures helps to connect emerging talent with industry, bridging the gap between education and employment. Hannah was also instrumental in the creation of the Breakthrough Talent Awards, which celebrate and recognise outstanding production industry newcomers.

Students from the Academy of Live Technology have directly benefited from Production Futures events on multiple occasions, taking advantage of opportunities to attend sessions delivered by representatives of industry-leading organisations. Several have gone on to win Breakthrough Talent awards themselves, simultaneously celebrating their achievements and helping their career progression.
