The Profile Awards Winners 2026 - Celebrating Excellence in Lighting Design for Theatre and Television

Published on June 15, 2026

The Profile Awards, created and coordinated by Durham and Jennie Marenghi in association with the ALPD, the STLD and the ABTT, recognise lighting design excellence in Theatre and Television across the UK. The inaugural event took place at the Alexandra Palace Theatre on 6 June 2024 the final day of the ABTT Show and the awards have returned annually to that venue ever since.

Now in its third year, the 2026 ceremony welcomed 240 guests in a relaxed cabaret-style format, with half of attendees being lighting designers or members of lighting design teams. The trophies are miniature LED Patt 23M fixtures a limited-edition reproduction of the iconic Rank Strand Patt 23 profile, modelled and produced by Hugh Chinnick.

Congratulations to all the winners ...
