Autumn ON TOUR Dates to include ON TOUR Podcast.
Production Futures, the organisation founded to create opportunities for young people to learn, train, network and develop real careers in every sector of the production industries, has announced the dates for its autumn ON TOUR events. They will take place between 10am and 3pm on Tuesday October 15th at the Backstage Centre in Purfleet and Wednesday November 27th at Production Park in Wakefield. That latter event will see the presentation of this year’s much anticipated Production Futures Breakthrough Awards, where as well as receiving the kudos of being named a winner, successful nominees will benefit from direct contact with the sponsor of their award.
The events will enable young visitors to directly connect with representatives of Production Futures’ brand partners to explore employment opportunities in the production sectors. Both occasions will enjoy packed schedules including panel discussions, advice, workshops, special guests, networking opportunities and more.
Production Futures is also pleased to announce that its successful TALKS podcast will now be featured as part of each show, with inspirational guests being interviewed in front of a live audience.
Hannah Eakins of Production Futures comments:
“The team look forward to welcoming a significant number of young people to our autumn events and guiding them toward the myriad opportunities that exist for them within the production sector. Our ON TOUR events have proved incredibly successful in helping to encourage and develop emerging talent, and we’re grateful for the support of our enterprising brand partners who see the huge value in helping to secure a strong future for our industry.
“We’re very excited to be taking our TALKS Podcast out on the road with us – we love talking to inspiring people, exploring hidden job roles, and exploring the training opportunities that are out there for young people. As everyone knows, we’re huge advocates for diversity and employability, and are on a mission to ensure that every young person has access to opportunities working in creative and technical jobs. Obtaining firsthand advice from our dynamic and insightful guests can play an important part in achieving those aims.”
