Production Futures Announces Reciprocal Collaboration With KitPlus Show

Production Futures, the organisation founded to create opportunities for young people to learn, train, network and develop real careers in every sector of the production industries, is delighted to announce a collaboration with KitPlus Show. Now in its thirteenth year, KitPlus Show brings together leading manufacturers, distributors and dealers of pro-video, AV, and broadcast media technology, to innovate, engage and connect with exhibitors, industry partners and visitors at its annual UK-wide show series.

Continuing to go from strength to strength, KitPlus Show is now a firmly established event platform for helping to build new relationships and bring industry decision makers together at exhibitor booths and through its unique and insightful seminar programme.

KitPlus Show’s long-standing affiliation with colleges and universities aligns closely with the Production Futures mission, as Event Director Matt Snow explains:

“We already work closely with further and higher education institutions across the UK, delivering paid training and unique hands-on experience for students and graduates in front of and behind the camera at our shows. By collaborating with Production Futures, who share our vision of creating opportunities for young people to learn, train, network and build careers, we can combine our skills and experience to really address the issues currently facing our industry – most especially where the next generation of talent is concerned.”

KitPlus and Production Futures will benefit from having a presence at each other’s shows – the new collaboration will launch at the upcoming Production Futures ON TOUR show on October 15th at the Backstage Centre in Purfleet where KitPlus will have a presence, followed by a reciprocal promotion at the KitPlus Show at MediaCity, Manchester which takes place on October 24th. Production Futures will be exhibiting and also supporting important industry panel discussions within the KitPlus seminar programme.

Production Futures’ Hannah Eakins is excited to be working with KitPlus Show:

“Production Futures continues to forge strong reciprocal relationships with progressive organisations who share our conviction that an emphasis on bringing through talent in the production industries is absolutely fundamental to its growth and success. KitPlus Show is another brilliant platform from which Production Futures can develop awareness and opportunity in equal measure. Similarly, we can offer KitPlus the chance to share its vision at our ON TOUR events. We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.”
