Production Futures is delighted to see that one of its Breakthrough Talent Award winners from 2019, Oli Crump, has progressed to win the Sound System Designer of the Year category at the prestigious 2025 TPi Awards.
Oli, who recently started a full-time role at L-Acoustics, having previously toured as Head of Sound & System Engineer for Becky Hill, Louis Tomlinson and Rick Astley, won his Production Futures Breakthrough award in the ‘Young Freelancer of the Year’ category six years ago, and has since worked hard to develop a stellar career in audio.
Hannah Eakins of Production Futures saw Oli collect his award:
“We’re all thrilled to see Oli win his award. It’s fitting recognition for the incredibly high standard of his work, as well as the drive he’s shown to achieve so much in a relatively short space of time. Oli is an inspiration to all young people entering the production industries, proving that where talent and determination meet opportunity, the sky’s the limit. Production Futures exists to create and develop those opportunities, so we’re immensely proud to see one of ‘our own’ taking such great strides and being recognised in this way.”
Oli Crump adds:
“I was honoured to receive the award – a lovely way to top off the freelance chapter of my career. Thanks to everyone who helped me find my way over the years and to those who nominated or voted for me in the past weeks. Hope to catch up with you all down the road, sooner rather than later!”
