Production Futures exists to create opportunities for young people to learn, train, network and develop real careers in production across every area of the live event, music, touring, theatre, TV, broadcast and film industries.
As the organisation prepares to embark on its Production Futures ON TOUR programme of events for the autumn, it is pleased to announce that it has joined Creative UK as a Federation Member. Creative UK is an independent network that unites the creative industries and generates opportunities for innovation to thrive by investing in creative people and businesses. It works with its partners to connect, invest, champion and support the growth of the creative sector, an ethos which aligns closely with Production Futures’ own ambitions.
Hannah Eakins, CEO of Production Futures comments:
“Becoming a Federation Member of Creative UK widens our network of contacts within the creative industries, virtually all of which are associated with the production employment opportunities we seek to bring to the wider attention of young people. We look forward to developing a strong relationship with Creative UK that will both benefit young people and the industries which can harness their talent.”
Lee Hornsby, Lead Development and Partnerships Manager for Creative UK adds:
“Creative UK are delighted that Production Futures has joined as Federation members for the coming year. We have long been advocates of creative skills and careers, and we’re looking forward to amplifying and collaborating on the brilliant work and opportunities Production Futures are developing in this space with our networks.”
