Production Futures to Feature at ISE 2025

Production Futures is pleased to announce that its team will be present at this year’s ISE in Barcelona, where it will take over the Live Events Stage on Friday February 7th for a focus on inspiration, networking, training, and career growth in live event technology and broadcast. The organisation exists to create opportunities for young people to learn, train, network and develop careers in production across every area of the live event, music, touring, theatre, TV, broadcast and film industries, and this will be its first venture outside the UK.

Part of ISE’s Fast Forward Friday initiative, the takeover is targeted towards production newcomers in the first five years of their careers, and aims to promote a day of learning that will help develop the skills and confidence to meet career challenges head-on.

Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events comments:

“We are delighted to be working with Production Futures for ISE 2025. Showing young people how they can build a career in the live event space is an exciting addition to our show and is a further demonstration of our commitment to building the profile of the live events community within Integrated Systems Europe.  I’m sure that this new partnership will prove beneficial for both attendees and exhibitors.“

Hannah Eakins of Production Futures will co-host the day’s events:

“The industry is very much a global community, so it’s essential for the voice of Production Futures to be heard at premier international events like ISE. The day’s schedule strikes a balance between inspirational talks which will signpost practical and technical skills training, and active networking opportunities across a wide range of disciplines. We want to ensure that those who attend leave with actionable takeaways and the motivation to apply them, as well as enjoying the opportunity to build up their network of contacts.”

As well as presenters from leading brands including Riedel Communications, Martin Audio, ROE Visual Europe, Brompton Technology, MA Lighting, zactrack, 80six and Disguise, events will also include contributions from award-winning industry newcomers, who will share useful practical  insights and perspectives from their own journeys. Hannah continues:

“One feature of the day will be ‘The Future is Bright’ panel, hosted by Richard Wear, which will include a number of this year’s Breakthrough Talent Award winners, whose prizes went beyond a traditional glass trophy to include travel bursaries to attend ISE. They will be sharing their stories firsthand and offering advice about how to navigate the path from newcomer to established professional. We are proud to partner with ISE and look forward to delivering an action-packed, collaborative, and productive day for the newcomers attending the show.
